The Vandenberg Thrift Shop is a non-profit private organization whose mission statement is clear:
“The purpose of the Thrift Shop is to raise money for donations to charitable organizations and any other organization significantly serving the military community.”
Any organization interested in soliciting a donation needs to mail a written request to Thrift Shop. It should include the following information:
- Name and address of your organization
- Purpose of your organization
- What the donation will be used for
- Amount of the donation request
- Date funding is needed
- How the donation and your organization fulfills the mission statement of the Thrift Shop

Hours of Operation:
September through May
- Tuesday: 0930 – 1400 & Thursday: 0930 – 1400
Consign items on these days from 0930-1230
- Second Saturday of each Month: 1000 – 1400
Consign items on Sat from 1000-1300
June through August
- Tuesday: 1100 – 1800
Consign items 1100 – 1630
DONATIONS ACCEPTED ANYTIME!
Volunteers needed and always appreciated! Up to 35 hours
of child care can be paid while you help. All efforts support the VAFB
community.
