The Vandenberg Spouses Club Scholarship Program

The Vandenberg Spouses Club Scholarship Program is back! In keeping with tradition, the VSC offers generous scholarship opportunities to military spouses, high school seniors, and undergraduate dependents. Applications are currently available on this page, at local high schools, and in various locations on Vandenberg such as the Education Center, Family and Airman Readiness Center, and the library.
All applications must be completed in full and submitted by Friday, March 30, 2012 to be considered for selection.
Military Spouse Applicants
The Scholarship Selection Committee will consider an applicant’s community service, special interests, honors, awards, and employment. Spouses of active duty members assigned to Vandenberg or spouses of retired or deceased military pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees are eligible to apply for scholarship. Prior spouses club scholarship winners are not eligible so that others may have an opportunity to benefit from the program.

Military Dependent Applicants
All graduating seniors in the class of 2012 and college-age dependents of active
duty military sponsors who are stationed at Vandenberg are eligible. High
school seniors and college-age dependents of retired or deceased military are
eligible if the applicant resides in Santa Barbara County or San Luis Obispo
County, CA. Once again, the Scholarship Selection Committee will consider an
applicant’s scholastic record, community service, special interests, employment
and honors or awards. Financial need will not be a consideration for any
applicant.
